My Space Housing Solutions were proud to unveil their latest Skegness development at an informal launch event and open day, complete with balloons and bacon butties!
Housing five residents, the development on Castleton Boulevard offers tailor-made supported living for people with mental health issues and aims to increase both their health and wellbeing and sense of independence as well as improving social integration and cohesion within the local community.
My Space have been working in partnership with various local agents and were delighted to be joined on the day by East Lincolnshire District Council Housing Advice, Housing Standards and Wellbeing teams, County Care, Lincolnshire County Council Adult Social Care, Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group as well as local representatives from Mencap and homelessness charity P3.
Speaking about her recent experiences, one of the new residents told us, “From leaving my old flat where everything was going wrong, My Space have given me the foundations to change my life and help me become me.”
