As a not-for-profit organisation, we are proud to help people at risk of homelessness and those who have been living in temporary or unsuitable accommodation.

Our support

We support individuals who are recovering from alcohol or substance abuse, those overcoming personal challenges and customers who have found it difficult to sustain a tenancy, look after a home or live successfully as part of a neighbourhood.

Any of those issues can limit life chances and place individuals at greater risk of homelessness. They can result in social exclusion, antisocial behaviour and crime that blights communities.

My Space is well-placed to provide housing solutions and support, in partnership with local authorities and other trusted partners who share our social purpose.

Our highly experienced, caring teams deliver individual support which can include assistance to claim welfare benefits, employment and money advice and signposting to other agencies for specialist help.

Weekly meetings with a dedicated housing support officer build a relationship focused on respect, coaching and encouragement. We help customers keep to the terms of a tenancy agreement and develop the skills to run a home. We can even provide a ‘moving in’ essentials package if required, for the best possible chance of success.

With growing independence comes greater resilience and the confidence to meet challenges, overcome obstacles and work towards self-reliance.
